Lighthouse Louisiana is a not for profit organization dedicated to serving the blind and visually impaired community by providing quality products, services, and opportunities for independence.  In addition to a core, modern manufacturing operation that employs people with visual impairments, we offer a range of work-force development, independent living, and visual rehabilitation services. 

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER

It has come to the Lighthouse’s attention again that some companies are using the Lighthouse’s name to solicit individuals over the phone.  These companies are stating that their products are either made by or packaged by blind or visually impaired individuals.  Two of the companies have been identified as Lifeline Industries and US Disadvantaged Industries, these companies are for-profit and not charities.  The Lighthouse is not affiliated with either of these companies.  Please remember, the Lighthouse has not and does not make phone solicitations to sell products.  The items the Lighthouse produces are mainly for government contracts.
